preparations

I've gone quiet on here as there is now just a few days left to prepare for Saturday 5th and 6th September Helfa Gelf at RSPB Conwy, and I also got side tracked, which turns out is a good thing. I had an opportunity to go to Anglesey  a few days ago , and got so much inspiration, so I am now working on a landscape, which I  might bring in  a semi finished state. Art is all about twists and turns, and I know I paint my best when I really feel I have something to say. As I have said before, inspiration is all around you, and usually you don't have to go far, but when I do, WOW! There is so much beauty...
I had my young grandson to stay and I did a masterclass with him. I asked him to choose his colours from my box for our project, and he picked two that I might never have thought of using together . Green Gold and Quinacridone Gold, and it was amazing! What a vibrant combination .... Sometimes seeing through the eyes of a child is the best teacher, so thank you Jasper!.
Do come and say hello to me and Lisa Fox and Pam Peters if you are around. I will have originals, Limited Edition prints and cards with me. Also sketch book and paints. That view at the RSPB is too good not to paint something of it.. See you there!
